ELIGIBILITY & REQUIREMENTS

1. The nominee’s fair must be an active Virginia Association of Fairs member in good standing by the nomination deadline.

2. The nominee’s fair must have been a member of the Virginia Association of Fairs for a minimum of 3 consecutive years.

3. The nominee must not have reached their 41st birthday by the first day of the VAF Annual Convention in the award year.

4. The nominee must be a board member, volunteer, or employee of a VAF member fair in good standing.

5. The nominee must be an authorized representative of the nominee’s fair, with endorsement from the fair’s governing body or an authorized officer.

6. One nomination per member fair per year. Unsuccessful nominees may be resubmitted in a later year with an updated nomination. A previous recipient may not receive the award again.
