VAF Associates and Prospective Members,
We’re excited to share an important update to the Virginia Association of Fairs (VAF) Associate Membership process beginning in 2026. To better streamline registration and provide additional value, associate membership will now be included as part of the annual conference registration.
Here’s how the new process will work:
Exhibitors with Tradeshow Booths: If you purchase a tradeshow booth, your VAF Associate Membership and a business listing on the website are now included with your exhibitor fee. Purchasing a tradeshow booth also includes registration for up to 2 people to attend the conference.
Conference Attendees (Without a Booth): If you choose not to purchase a booth but plan to attend the conference, your conference registration fee will include VAF Associate Membership and a business listing on the VAF website for 2026. Associate attendees without a tradeshow booth are prohibited from conducting business in the tradeshow area and will be asked to leave if observed by or reported to VAF personnel.
Non-Attendees (Website Listing & Membership Only): If you are not planning to attend the conference, you will still have the opportunity to register as an Associate Member and receive a website listing for 2026.
For Associates Who Have Already Paid 2025–2026 Dues: We value your continued support. Associates who have already paid membership dues for the 2025–2026 fiscal year will receive a one-time use coupon code in the amount of the dues paid. This coupon can be applied toward your 2026 conference registration.
This new structure ensures all associates are recognized and connected with Virginia’s fair community while simplifying the registration and membership process. We appreciate your continued partnership and look forward to seeing many of you at the 2026 conference!
All members will receive a membership card for the Association covering the current fiscal year until March 31, 2026. To develop good relationships among fair members, as well as an opportunity to exchange ideas, the membership card provides gate admission for the bearer and up to three guests at member fairs. For associate members, this card allows the same admissions, providing exposure to events sponsored by our fairs. Member fairs are encouraged, but are not required, to honor these guest cards as some have their own method of providing courtesy admissions. This is the only card you will receive. No duplicates will be provided. We urge all fair members to use the services of our fellow associate members when planning your events.
The Virginia Association of Fairs is now making plans for the Association’s 109th Anniversary conference being held Thursday, January 8th thru Sunday, January 11th, 2026. The conference will be held again at The Williamsburg Lodge in Williamsburg, VA. Please save this date on your calendar. All conference schedules and information will be posted on our website.
Registration can be completed online using the links provided below, or by mail. If applying by mail, please download and complete the application and mail in with your check or money order.
